#17: Why Kegels Won’t Solve all your Pelvic Floor Issues, and What to do Instead

Have you ever beat yourself up for not doing your Kegels? Did you know that doing kegels may not help solve whatever pelvic floor problems you are experiencing AND can sometimes make them worse? Before you do more kegels, listen to this episode! 

Today, we are going over what a kegel contraction actually is, where the idea came from, and why kegels are not the magic fix for pelvic floor issues such as incontinence. Yes, even if your provider told you to do them.
